I think I've also got a handle on the food ordering for next weekend's Winter Rendezvous. I got hold of a distributor over by Taylorsville (who services Maumee Scout Reservation, as it turns out), who has most of what I need. I can order the bulk of the supplies from them and they'll deliver them to camp around noon next Friday. That means all I've got to do is go shopping for the specialty items, like lamb's liver for haggis. Suddenly, the way forward amidst my crazy schedule is clearing. Winter Rendezvous Committee meets tonight, and I think I'm ready for it.
Still, there are several people I'm praying for like crazy. It's tough when you see the trains on a collision course and can't do anything about it. All you can do is rush to help pick up the wreckage, sometimes. And, pray: for God can get there ahead of me.
Honestly, I don't know how anybody can get through a day without hanging onto Christ for sheer life.
