Catwatch update

Cuthbert is now eating solid food -- ravenously. The medicine is making strides against his eye infection. Soon, he will be strong enough for a bath, to get rid of any remaining fleas & such. As soon as we are confident that he is litterbox-reliable, he will be given the run of the downstairs. Once we can trust Sassy and him together, he will be given the run of the house.

He is showing a desire to be held and cuddled, though he feels ridiculously small in my hands (don't want to squeeze too hard). He is a great jumper. He has a mighty purr, though his meow is like unto a little squeaky-toy. He particularly likes to lie on me directly over my heart: no doubt it comforts him in his Mama's absence.

All in all, things are going very well for him.
