Stick a fork in these guys already

When the Rump Parliament refused to adjourn itself, Oliver Cromwell adjourned it by force, uttering the following famous words:
You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately ... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!

It's time somebody said this to the Lame Duck Congress trying to pass all the stuff they couldn't get through in the previous two years. Adjourn already. Whatever didn't get done can be fixed in a couple of weeks when the new Congress is sworn in.
