Get 'er done

I spoke with my orthopedic surgeon today, and my shoulder surgery is scheduled for December 13. Believe it or not, smack-dab in the middle of Advent works better than November. And I should be able to preach on December 19. The only big deal I'll miss is the annual Troop Bake-off and Auction on the day of my surgery. Anyway, I'll have this out of the way before the end of the year and start the New Year with everything fixed up.

Now, if only the nerve in my mandible would finish waking up from the sinus surgery I had almost six months ago!
