Storming the castle

President Obama says that voters are turning away from his minions because they're scared and not thinking straight. He accuses his opponents of playing on people's fears.

Me, I'm not scared. I'm mad as hell, is what I am. And I think a lot of other people are, too.

As for not thinking straight, it was all the people two years ago who thought they were electing some transformative, post-racial, post-partisan, healer of the hurts of the world who could stop the very oceans from rising who weren't thinking clearly.

Finally, the only people's fears I want to play on are the lying, grabby, arrogant [insert Napoleon's description of Talleyrand here]s currently in power in Washington. And after we've got rid of them, I want the new people who take power there to retain a healthy fear of the American voter.
