Good books

Last month, I finally got hold of Lindsay Davis's latest Falco mystery, Nemesis. It was great. Then, I learned that Davis had published a non-Falco novel set in the English Civil War. It's called Rebels and Traitors. It's a huge, sprawling novel, and I ate it up.

Today, I dropped by Barnes and Noble and all I could find worth reading was a bargain-priced collection of stories called Rudyard Kipling's Tales of Horror and Fantasy. Ooh, tickety-boo! For those not familiar with Kipling, he's one of the great story-tellers, ever.

This is going to keep me in happyland for a good while.
