Monday Cat Pictures

Hera is our indoor-outdoor cat. We had decided to keep both kitties indoors, but she figured out Sassy's pet door and she likes to spend a lot of time outside. She's made herself a wallow in the overgrown kitchen garden, from which she can keep watch on all the comings and goings by the back door.

Unlike Lightning, who will scamper out of reach if he doesn't want to be picked up, Hera will simply walk a little faster. But if she knows she's about to be caught, she'll stop, drop, and roll over, acting cute and presenting her belly to be rubbed.
