Blessing of the Hunt

Attention, sportsmen and –women! Dr. Collins will lead a Service of Blessing of the Hunt on Friday evening, October 22, at 7:00 p.m. All those who plan to participate in wild game hunting this year are invited to come dressed for the hunt, bearing the weapons they plan to use (unloaded, please). We will give thanks to God for the beauty and bounty he provides. We will rededicate ourselves to the best in hunting and conservation practices. Prayers for the safety and success of the hunters will be offered, and a chance will be given to receive a blessing for oneself and one’s gun or bow.
