500 channels and still ain't nuthin' on

I dropped in on our Troop meeting tonight for just an hour. It was good to see people, schmooze a little. It was great to see the Scouts, too. We've got more new ones (wow). And Ben M. has returned to the fold, which makes me very glad. He was doing Hiking MB with me at the time he dropped out. Glad to have him back.

One of the adult committee members commented that she had seen me a lot on FB recently. The reason, of course, is that I am bored out of my skull. This staying home and taking it easy is mentally tough. TV is a vaster wasteland than when we only had three channels. I watch very little of it. I went to Barnes & Noble this week, hoping to buy a new book that might occupy me for a day or two, but found nothing that interested me. Which is pretty pathetic when you think how broad my interests are. All of which leaves teh intarwebs.

Surf's up, baby.
