Tuesday morning, the day was opening up fine and hot. As I was leaving my PT session, I dropped by Wapehani and walked around the lake. Here is an unusual view of one of the most beloved places from my boyhood.

Meanwhile, everybody has decided that the kitchen is the place to be. Sassafras likes to eat kitty food that the cats knock off their serving table (she thinks it's dog candy), and the cats want to be wherever the attention is being given. So here is Hera, Sassy, and Lightning right in the middle of where everybody has to walk. Of course.

Last night, Deanne and I went over to Wilderstead for a quiet night by ourselves. It was wonderful. This morning, she said she just had to go look at the creek before we left. I took the shot, above, with the morning sun shining full on her. What a beautiful woman. What a beautiful day.

It's been a good week.
