A penultimate post?

Well, I'm nearly packed, but my brain is shutting down and I've got to go to bed. I'll get up and finish it all up with a bow in the morning.

We leave today for the UK. I am fortified by the prayers of others and my own faith in the goodness of God.

I may have time to read my e-mail and maybe post one more time before heading out to meet the Crew; in the meantime, the prayer of Sir Jacob Astley before the battle of Edgehill (1642) will have to suffice for all my needs today:
O Lord! thou knowest how busy I must be this day:
if I forget thee, do not thou forget me.

Amen.
