Wow.

This next Sunday is our Consecration Sunday, where we ask people to commit their financial support for the church for the next year. We've had about 65 people at each of the last two luncheons. This year, we have a confirmed attendance of 101. And we haven't gotten around to calling the laggards yet. Someone suggested that attendance was up because the Scouts were catering the meal. I don't care why it's up, I'm just glad that somebody's excited about something going on here. It bodes very well for the congregation.

And it means we've got our work cut out for us this week.
