Computer woes

The Geek Squaddies assured me that Norton Ghost would allow me backup or extract my files from my crashed system. There's just one hitch. The Norton Ghost on sale right now only works with Vista or XP. My old box uses Windows NT for its operating system. So, I have joined Norton Community on-line to seek a solution. Any help anyone on LJ could give me would be appreciated, also.

I really need to get this resolved this week. I've got working files on that 'puter that I need ASAP, and re-creating them from scratch would be the devil to do.
