Oh, the joys of a new season

Today was Find-all-the-camping-gear-and-get-it-straightened-out* Day. Which meant cleaning all the rest of the garage to get TO the camping gear. Mumbling imprecations against people who don't know how to put gear back together when they're done using it. Mumbling extreme imprecations against whatever double-sphinctered fool took all the guylines off the dining fly. (Oh well, it's time to buy some new cord for it, anyway.)

Lots of dust and grit and what-in-the-worlds later, I am ready to start culling the actual gear to go to the UK with us in a mere NINE DAYS' TIME. (Uff da! Vee reelly startin' to freek out now, yoo betcha!)

Kyrie eleison. Christe eleison. Kyrie eleison.

*That would all be one word in German.
