Hello again

I sat next to Charles A. at our Council Executive Board meeting tonight. Out of the blue, he asked me if I had ever met up with a Methodist minister named Lance M. I replied that yes, I knew Lance; in fact, he and I attended first grade together in Greenwood, Indiana. Charles looked at me funny, and said, "Then we were in first grade together."

Turns out Charles grew up just down the street from me. We had forgotten each other. Not surprising, I suppose, since I left Greenwood in 1960, just before we both started second grade.

Weird.
