A wearisome week

Monday, I flew to Dallas. The plane was delayed twice; finally, I switched to another plane at no cost. The meeting was very small beer.

Tuesday, I had two very significant conversations rather than attending the meeting I was officially supposed to be in. It was a good trade. I realized that staying until after 6:00 p.m. was going to be awful, though, and I spent $50 to switch my flight out.

Yesterday, I plugged away and got all kinds of things done. I was really thinking I was getting stuff done!

Today, I've been dragging myself around, dealing with aggravations of various sorts.

Tomorrow, I have somewhere between eight and thirteen 4th- and 5th-graders coming for a God and Family retreat. They stay through Saturday afternoon. Here's hoping that goes well.

collinsmom got home from grad school tonight. She's beat, too.
