Ye Olde Campmor catalog came today. I don't need much in the way of camping gear (I've got more than I can use up in the remainder of my lifetime); nevertheless, I always check out their Super Special Deals. These tend to be remaindered items: very high quality, but only odd sizes or strange colors left. You know how it goes.

Well, it's 8 degrees around here, and I've been freezing my legs off every time I go out. And I'm planning on going camping in a couple of weeks with our Boy Scout Troop. And there, on the cover of the Campmor catalog, were insulated snow bibs. Mmmm. Only one color (black), but who cares? I got me some -- and got some for collinsmom, too, so she won't be cold on those trips to the holler or when walking Sassy in these frigid days.

The price? $29.95 apiece. Now, that's a deal.
