The deal is, in the Wilderness rules regress to old-time judgments. We may be able to do provide better care than we used to, but when you're a two-day walk from even the nearest Ranger station, then ambulances and EMTs and hospitals and prescription drugs might as well be on the far side of the moon. Some possibilities are limited to what you can do with the resources on hand.
