Prayer Request

The quadrennial General Conference of The United Methodist Church begins this week in Fort Worth, Texas. There are a thousand delegates from all over the world. Everything is on the table.

There are petitions to change our denominational structure, plus the usual radical proposals re: homosexuality, and the arcane (but terribly important) election of Judicial Council members.

It's at times like these that I realize that only God can make it all come out okay. My trust is in him alone. But I pray also for the delegates, that they will be open to his Spirit and do what he wants.
