Looking back, looking forward

It's the first day of a new year, and it came in snowing. I couldn't make it over to Wilderstead, but I took Sassafras for a ride and a walk over at Wapehani. This is now a mountain bike park, but when I was a youth, it was my Boy Scout Camp. Sassy and I had the place to ourselves. The snow fell gently on us as we walked. So, for the first day of a new year, we have here a walk into the past. It was great; I am at peace.

After we got back, collinsmom and I up and drove over to Terre Haute to shop for some cold weather camping stuff at Gander Mountain. It was a lovely winter drive.
