How about Iraq's Parliament voting on benchmarks for Congress?

The Democrats in Congress are now saying that following General Petraeus's recommendations will result in ten more years of war. Excuse me, but I think how long the war lasts should depend on when our enemies decide to quit, not when we do.

That means it's really over, when
they quit because it's not worth it to them any more,
OR
they quit because too many of them are dead or in prison to continue,
OR
they quit because they can't find enough recruits to go on because their own people have rejected them.

If we quit first, they'll just start planning their next campaign of terror. After all, they expect to win.
