Absolutely frazzled

We are spending our first night in the new house. I'm posting this from the church computer, since we haven't got our computers hooked up (or telephone switched -- we're operating solely by cell phone right now).

The movers did an absolutely awful job. Complaints will be made. In fact, they're not done yet. A significant amount of stuff is left at the other house, including the frame for our bed. They call these guys "Soft Touch Movers." Rough Riders would be more appropriate. *snort*

Yet, we are in, and that's something. Progress is being made. I am no longer a patient waiting for someone to do something, but an agent making things happen. Gotta get up early in the morning and take collinsmom to the clinic for her tests. Then I've got to lead a Bible study. Then we've got to deal with the movers again. Cable guy comes on Thursday afternoon. By the weekend, we should have a modicum of normality returning to our lives. (Gawd, I hope so.)
