The party's over, it's time to call it a day

Well, it's been a loooong day. Worship went well, the sermon was evidence of God's grace (he did better with my material than I was hoping for).

We cooked all afternoon and had a great turnout for the BIG DINNER. We took in over $900 dollars, making a profit of around $660. This completes our fundraising for the trip to UK.

D. and I are utterly pooped. We haven't had any time for each other all weekend. So we have declared tomorrow evening a holiday.

Lotsa surgeries to attend this week, plus a school program to do on St. Patrick's Day (Irish songs & stories for 5th-graders). AND, I need to be getting in touch w/my confirmands about their decisions regarding professing their faith.
