And as our hero sinks slowly in the sunset . . .

I started out the day tired and things went downhill from there. Lots of stress, frustration, general pissiness. But the day finished well. Got some important stuff done. Had a good Pastor-Parish meeting (how strange does that sound for most United Methodist pastors?).

I was looking for needle and thread yesterday. collinsmom didn't know where they were. I said I had some iron-on stuff, if I could find the iron. Well, good luck with that. Today, she asked me if I knew where the bread machine was. I said, probably shacking up with the iron. Soon, they'll have a litter of little flatbreads.

Got a clergy meeting in the morning to talk about financial crap (O, be joyful). But at least it's something to go to and meet people at. Haven't hobnobbed with any other pastors in this District since I moved in.

Someday, I swear, I'm going to get organized.
