Name dropping

Man, I must have some residual Romantic Movement or Transcendental schtick going through my head these days. Yesterday, I had two quotes running through my brain; finally, I looked them up: Henry David Thoreau and Jean Jacques Rousseau! I am weirded out.

Here are the quotes, if you're interested:
"Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them."

-- Henry David Thoreau

"Man is born free, yet he is everywhere in chains."

-– Jean Jacques Rousseau.

Next thing you know, I'll be wearing love beads and carrying a bong.
