Two steps forward, one step back

Well, we have a house awaiting us in Yonderville; however, it's not available until the 10th of July, so I called our mover to reschedule.

We were supposed to pack up this Thursday and deliver over there on Friday. This being the busy season, our mover can't just drop everything and match the new date. As it stands, his first available date to load is the 20th, with delivery on the 21st. He's trying to finagle something sooner, but we may have to go with that.

That means camping out on weekends over there, driving back and forth to do essential stuff, wearing ourselves out (and spending major gas money), until we can get everything moved. It's a good thing we don't have to be out of here immediately.

And so it goes.

On the other hand, I think I'm finally getting ready for this. Saying good-bye to TVUMC was wrenching, but I've finally stuck a fork in it. It's time to go. Now, if I could just get my übermüdes Gehirn to function, I'd start planning sermons and such for my debut.
