|Twilight at Mikumi NP, Tanzania 2001
Mikumi NP has got just as much to see as the better-known places like Serengeti Plains and Ngorongoro Crater NPs, but less traffic.
|Morogoro beneath the Uluguru Mts. 2001
My favorite town in Tanzania. And the mountains are just gorgeous.
|Livingstone Memorial, Ujiji, Tanzania 2001

|White giraffe calf, Mikumi NP, Tanzania
The giraffe is the national symbol of Tanzania. They come in a variety of colors, like breeds.
|Zebras, Mikumi NP
Zebras are plentiful on the plains, as well as many other beasties.
|Baboon, Mikumi NP
This baboon was one of several who raided our stores upon our arrival. They made off with a jar of peanut butter before we learned to close and lock the windows of the hostel.
