Treasures great and small

Today, May 3, is the date observed in ancient times as the anniversary of St. Helena, mother the Emperor Constantine, finding the True Cross in Jerusalem.

When I was in Great Britain last year, I bought a small Roman coin from the reign of Constantine featuring the Empress Helena. I always wanted a Roman coin, and I thought St. Helena, with her association with the Cross, would be an interesting piece to have in my coin collection.
