New angle on things

Little Cabin in the Woods Little Cabin in the Woods
As seen from the front pasture looking down into the holler.

I took this picture today from uphill of our little cabin. I had been patching barbed wire fence along the upper pasture. It is a joy to do simple chores about the place.

Although, once it becomes a three-hour drive to Wilderstead, it may be more of an aggravation. I will have to plan ahead, possibly stay overnight. But there's lots to be done, and I'll be puttin' around doin' it all summer and fall.

The goal is to have the cabin interior finished and ready for Christmastide partying! So, I'm shooting for St. Gall's Day (October 16), and if I'm a wee bit delayed, I'll still probably get 'er done.
