Buckling down to the work

I got a nice Christmas surprise in the mail today. Amazon sent me, earlier than expected, a book I had ordered: A Shakespearean Grammar: an attempt to illustrate some of the differences between Elizabethan and modern English. For the use of schools, by E.A. Abbott. Originally published in 1877(!), it’s a dense work, as full of real information as a Payday bar is of peanuts.Collapse )
