O day of rest and gladness
I got up way early yesterday to start my rounds, and the lack of sleep showed all day. By the time I went to bed last night, I was shaky and achy. Today was to be a ten-mile hike. I got up at six, and at seven o'clock called my co-leader to cancel. Just not up to it. Then I flopped back in the recliner and zonked out until ten.
Yeah, I'm getting better, but rest is essential to getting over this crud that's been dragging me down for the last month. So, today is a piddle day. Gotta finish folding the laundry and write my sermon. And nap. Much nappage is required. And football.
