Happy St. George's Day

Good frend for Iesus sake forbeare,
to digg the dust encloased here;
Blest be ye man yt spares hes stones
and curst be he yt moves my bones.

Hoppy Easter

The Venturers took orders for Easter baskets, so we were out delivering them this morning. There are a few to be picked up in church tomorrow, too. Later today, there's an Eagle Court of Honor at 2:00 p.m., and the youth are preparing tomorrow morning's breakfast and rehearsing the Sunrise Service they're leading at 7:00 p.m. Various administrative tasks are also on the ol' to-do list.

It's the Easter Benny! It's the Easter Benny!

In just a few more hours . . .

Tomorrow morning at our Sunrise service, the youth are in charge. They'll do a fine job. They're also cooking breakfast. Ditto on that.

In the main service, the choir is performing a couple of great pieces. I'm beginning to receive my confirmation class (one to baptize, two to confirm tomorrow; two more to baptize on Mothers Day). We will celebrate communion and my confirmands will serve.

The banners are hung, the church awaits the morning of resurrection. Hallelujah!
