cook with fire

Cooking up a storm

I've spent the day cooking with the Scouts. Tomorrow is the big Consecration Sunday luncheon they're catering, and I'm directing their efforts.

So, this morning Seth, Jeffrey, and Tyler (a.k.a. Larry, Moe, and Curly) got down to business. We made Herb Pinwheel Rolls, which are now rising a second time in the refrigerator. We made Pumpkin Pies, Bread and Butter Pudding by the yard, and Cheesecakes.

When their shift ended, in came three Armeses and two Guziks plus one grandma. We got the Texas Pinto Bean Soup on the stove and made Vermont Cream Pies. We also got Rogers Hall set up for the luncheon.

Later on this evening, I'll go back over and slice the chicken breasts for the appetizers. Dann für den Morgen ist alles in Ordnung.
