welcome

Happy 100th Anniversary, Boy Scouts!

Our Venturers put up a signal tower today, while our Boy Scouts made 500 pizzas for delivery in time for the Super Bowl. Scout Sunday is tomorrow, and we're gearing up for a big day in church.

I hadn't built a large pioneering project for several years, but I love to do them. The Venturers got pretty cranked, too. When we were all done, I congratulated them for doing what very few Boy Scouts get to do anymore. They did a great job. And I like it that the tower is of appropriate proportions when placed against the impressive facade of the church. It holds its own.
