Time Event
9:17p
Boulder, boulder, on the ground, tell me something real profound
Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of The Daily Mustard. I put off starting a Live Journal for a long time, thinking that the press of coming up with stuff to say would be oppressive. Now, I see it as something that helps me stay sane. If I don't feel like being profound, I don't have to be. And I value the friends I've made on LJ.

At this time, I can't think of anything profound to say to mark the day. Maybe that's because we are at crunch time in our move up the street. The rehabbed parsonage is officially available for occupancy now, and I've been moving loosely-packed book boxes and various breakables up the street rather than trust them to the movers. The movers themselves come Tuesday morning, and we will be ensconced in our new digs by nightfall, dog and cat included. (Oy.)

Wednesday, collinsmom has a colonoscopy and endoscopy at the hospital and I have a Bible study at noon. The cable guy comes in the afternoon between 3 & 5. So life is basically nuts this week. Somehow, I've got to survive it and pull off the usual magnificent stuff for next weekend (Boy Scout Sunday -- a big deal around here).

And then I can finally get around to finding my winter dress coat, my shoe shine kit, the maps that have been kept boxed up, etc. and so forth, in quant. suff. Maybe by Easter, I'll be able to get on top of things and stay there.

Among tomorrow's tasks is calling up a parishioner to see if I can borrow some temporary kenneling until the church can get around to putting up a fence for Sassy. And so it goes.
