Great Pumpkin Alert
Well, I cut up a big ol' pumpkin tonight, and it's cooking on top of the stove. The seeds have been washed and set aside for roasting once collinsmom
gets home this weekend. She also plans on making some pies for the Men's fish fry this Saturday. Life is good.EDIT:
Mission accomplished. Having cooked the pumpkin soft, I mashed it up with a potato masher and scooped it into ziploc bags -- 1.5 cups per bag, just enough for a pie recipe. One medium pumpkin yielded eight bags of pumpkin pie goodness.
