Three and a half hour layover, then depart Chicago for London.

Depart Dar c. 1:00 p.m.;
Arrive Kigoma on Lake Tanganyika c. 5:30 p.m.
While in Kigoma, we will be staying at Joy in the Harvest, an ecumenical mission supporting the Church in Tanzania. They do church construction, pastoral training, evangelism work, feeding programs, helping the poor, summer recreation programs, AIDS prevention programs, refugee work, etc. etc. The Director is a UM minister. Nikki and Amber will do hands-on mission work under his direction. Deanne and I will help out as needed, or just talk church politics and gripe about our grown kids with Lowell and Claudia. We may go boating on Lake Tanganyika -- certainly we will go swimming there! And Lowell has connections with the UN refugee camps on the Burundi border, and may be able to get us in there.
Thursday, June 15: Leave Kigoma c. 4:30 p.m.;
Arrive Dar c. 9:00 p.m.
