Getting ready for the trusses
I spent today finishing up the upper wall sheathing and bracing. Trusses are delivered tomorrow morning. I've got a volunteer crew (an odd lot of friends and family) coming in to raise trusses Friday. Here's hoping for good weather.

Temporary bracing on the upper walls
This is to prevent the walls from spreading under the weight of the trusses

Loft area with picture window framed
Walls here are braced to the floor

Southern exposure
Ready to install roof trusses.

Ol' Bessie parked out of the way
The trusses are big and obnoxious and will have to be dropped on the drive (hopefully close to the site); moving my li'l tractor means I can still use it regardless of where the pile ends up.
I go back out to my hollow tomorrow. The big jobs are all done, but I've got a long list of little jobs that have to be done before getting down to the big job. The delivery truck arrives about 8:30 in the morning, and I will be on site before that.
Prayers would be appreciated.
