I predict that Walk the Line will beat out Brokeback Mountain for Best Picture at the Oscars. Brokeback Mountain reflects the entertainment industry's values, but Walk The Line lionizes fellow entertainers. And while I'm sure that Hollywood would love to give their highest award to gay cowboys, I can't see them turning down the chance to give that award to themselves.
