Beautiful day in the holler

While Deanne is recuperating from shoulder replacement surgery, I have to stay close. She was feeling good enough to accompany me to Wilderstead, though, so I could resume work on my block-laying. I did almost half a course while she read a book on her tablet in the cabin.

She did take time out, though, to take a few pix of me laying block. These are the first work pix I've had to publish. Here, you see the Master Journeyman Rank Amateur Mason hard at work.

Because she was so intent on capturing me at work, she didn't take a pic of the home-made scaffolding I'm using. That's probably a good thing. OSHA is busy enough.

I also got a pic of her lazing away in the cabin.

We are home now, and Deanne is paying the price for a long day. Here's hoping that tomorrow is another good day.
