Visions of sugar plums -- er, fig bars

Just getting ready to close down the ol' 'puter and head for bed. It's been a very good day. Picked up siege at the bus station this afternoon. It finally felt like Christmas to me: everybody was home; people were messing in the kitchen. We opened presents tonight -- a first for our clan -- but with all that we've got to do getting ready and getting out the door in the morning, we opted to share gifts tonight and make the big ham & eggs breakfast tomorrow.

We also made fig bars, which I hadn't done in years. stryck wanted to. Yum. I have carbed out this week!

God rest ye merry, gentles all.
