Long day

. . . but a good one. Worship, then after-bazaar lunch at the church. Took a brief nap. Venturers made gingerbread cookies. Currently feeling wiped out. It's all I can do to get to the end of the day sometimes. Just gotta leave tomorrow's to-do list for tomorrow.

Plans for this week: meetings (lots of those); taking communion to shut-ins; multiple special programs at church this weekend (Troop Iron Chef competition and Scout Auction, Progressive Dinner, Choir Cantata). Gotta do some major house-cleaning, too. "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof" (though none of these thing are "evil," just tiring), but "he giveth me strength as my day."

Not complaining, mind you. I'm content to be so used. I just don't see any room to breathe in the ol' calendar until a week from Thursday. Hoping then to get away to the holler for a night or two.
