Throwback Thursday

Today's Throwback Thursday pix are of our Venturing assault on Scafell Pike in 2005. It was a rainy and foggy day. We had already been overwhelmed with nasty weather in Scotland, so I bought a new rainjacket and gaiters in Ambleside before tackling this, the highest mountain in England. It was the first and last time I tried to hike in gaiters.
