Endangered species

We retired fifty-six or fifty-seven clergy today at Annual Conference. I've known many of these people most of my career. My ordination class -- one of the large classes we were having back in the late '70s -- is now pretty much retired or otherwise gone. Meanwhile, we approved thirteen to be ordained elder in full connection. Another ten were admitted to probationary membership.

This old bear is feeling pretty grey about the muzzle these days.

I'll be heading back early tomorrow for the Pathfinder NAUMS Annual Meeting. Breakfast at Shapiro's: something worth attending Conference for!
