I'm on a quest!

Walking down the road today, doo-dah, doo-dah

Both my boots and my tennies having reached an advanced state of decrepitude, I finally made myself go shopping for shoes yesterday, a task I do not enjoy. I wended my way to Shoe Carnival first. I have often found the tennies I like there, and occasionally they have good boots if you know what to look for. I was disappointed to find nothing in the whole store worth buying.

So, it's now on to other stores. I'd order online in order to get what I want, but I distrust ordering shoes without trying them on. My feet are hard to fit, in more ways than one. Ah, me. I hope I stumble on the place with the good stuff soon. I'll probably have to get what I want from two different stores, too, and that'll take a while to sort out.
