I am the diggin'est dawg

I drove over to Wilderstead yesterday after supper. The weather was beautiful, and the overnight in the cabin restful. Up and at it early this morning. My goal was to finish excavating the site for my insta-shed, in which I plan to park the tractor.

I think I dug and hauled at least twelve cubic yards of dirt -- maybe more. The weather coooperated nicely. Shirt-sleeves temp, no rain. And I got 'er done. Hallelujah! Now, all I've got to do is get some block to line the walls and some mulch for a floor.

There it is: my beautiful hole in the ground.

I dumped the tailings on the roadway where I'm building the second retaining wall.

I never get tired of this view.
