I had my last doctor's appointment of the year (I hope) this morning. This one was a follow-up with the neurologist/sleep doc who ordered my sleep study re-take. My allergist and he had both been all over me to get a c-pap machine because of my awful sleep study last March. Well, my second sleep study tells a different tale.

Instead of 32-35 apnea events per hour, I averaged 3.2 per hour -- not even enough to confirm a diagnosis of sleep apnea. How could that be? Well, I lost a large amount of weight, I slept in my normal position despite all the wires, and I wore my little breathe-right strip.

The neurologist said, "Ya fixed yourself." When was the last time you heard that from a doctor? Just had to crow about it.
