Some years ago, I came across a great quote. I can't remember whether it came from a work on Aimee Semple McPherson or from Elmer Gantry. Quite naturally, the two fuse together in the mind. The line comes from the Sister Aimee figure to her paramour. It could, however, come from today's political campaign, placed in the mouth of an Obama supporter.
