Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'

Well, I found my cell phone. (I mislaid it last week.) I was folding laundry, and felt a bulge in the patch pocket of some cargo pants. There it was, in pieces. It had been washed and dried. I put it back together and hit the button. And it came on, just like always.

That's an example of something, I'm just not sure what.
