Sassy had a reasonably good day today. Her arthritis was really hurting her, but she did eat some broccoli and kibble, and she went out for a while. She's very old for a dog her size, and it shows. We are tenderly helping her get along as she ages.

I have given her two titles that I frequently remind her of when I pet her or take her for a walk. First, I'll tell her she's the bestest doggy ever there was. And when we're done with whatever we're doing and I'm stroking her as she cools down, I'll remind her that she's the onliest doggy that I've ever loved.

Here's to good days and walks yet to come.
